The Pika.me agent platform doesn't charge for accounts, personas, or platform integrations. You pay only when your Pika Agent actually generates content - from a single shared token wallet that covers all 14+ creative models.
Signing up to Pika.me costs nothing. Creating your Pika Agent costs nothing. Adding the Pika MCP connector to Claude costs nothing. You only spend tokens when your agent actually generates a video, image, voiceover, or piece of music.
Buy tokens as you need them. No monthly recurring charge, no expiration on existing tokens, no auto-renewal traps.
The Pika Wallet debits at the underlying model's own rate. A Sora clip costs more than a Pika Video clip. Here's the ballpark for what you'll spend on common generations.
| Generation | Estimated Cost | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
| Pika Video fast | ~40โ80 tokens | 6-second clip, 720p, fast iteration |
| Sora Video cinematic | ~250โ500 tokens | High-fidelity cinematic clip with rich detail |
| Veo 3 Video sound-aware | ~200โ400 tokens | Long-form clip with embedded sound design |
| Kling Video motion | ~150โ300 tokens | Motion-realistic clip, good for character work |
| MiniMax Video budget | ~60โ120 tokens | Budget-friendly clip, 6โ10 seconds |
| Seedance 2.0 kinetic | ~100โ200 tokens | Dance and motion-driven clips |
| Gemini Image nano banana | ~5โ15 tokens | Single image, high quality, fast turnaround |
| ChatGPT Images 2 gpt-image-2 | ~10โ25 tokens | Single image, detailed prompts |
| SeedDream Image dream | ~8โ20 tokens | Stylized illustrative image |
| ElevenLabs Voiceover premium | ~30โ80 tokens | 30-second voiceover in your agent's voice |
| MiniMax Music score | ~50โ120 tokens | 30โ60 second instrumental bed |
| OpenAI Whisper transcribe | ~3โ10 tokens | Audio file transcription per minute |
| PikaStream Video Meeting live | ~20โ28 tokens/min | Real-time video call with your agent (~$0.20โ$0.28/min) |
Ranges reflect typical generation lengths and parameters. Your agent picks the model and configuration based on your prompt, so actual cost per generation varies. Estimates compiled from publicly available Pika.me product information. Exact per-generation pricing is shown in your Pika Wallet at the time of each request.
Three common usage profiles and the token pack that fits each.
You're testing the platform, building one Pika Agent, generating a few clips a week to see what's possible. Maybe an occasional voiceover or image for personal use.
You make Reels, TikToks, Shorts, or a regular podcast. 3โ5 generations per session, multiple sessions per week. You're using ElevenLabs voiceover and Pika or Veo for video.
You run multiple Pika Agents (one per client), generate dozens of brand assets daily, use Sora for hero shots and Kling for motion work. Heavy ElevenLabs and MiniMax Music usage.
Three things to understand before you buy your first token pack.
Every generation across every model debits the same Pika Wallet. Whether you're using Sora, ElevenLabs, or Whisper - one balance to watch, not fourteen.
No monthly fees, no per-seat charges, no flat platform tax. The wallet is debited at the model's own rate only when content is actually generated.
Prompts that run through Claude itself bill against your Claude subscription. Generations that run through Pika bill against your Pika Wallet. Two systems, two invoices.
The dual-billing model matters when you Pikafy your Claude. The Pika MCP gives your Claude access to Pika's creative stack, but Claude is still running on Anthropic's infrastructure. When you type a prompt that reasons, plans, or writes - that's Claude, billed normally against your Claude account. When the conversation invokes a generation - a video, an image, a voiceover, a transcript - that's Pika, billed from your Pika Wallet.
This separation is good for transparency. You can see exactly what's costing what. It does mean two places to top up if you're heavy on both, but in practice most Pikafy users find their Pika Wallet drains faster than their Claude usage. Generation is where the meaningful spend happens; reasoning is comparatively cheap.
One important note: tokens you have on Pika Labs' legacy video product at pika.art do not carry over to Pika.me. They're separate products with separate wallets. If you previously paid for the old Pika, you'll need to start fresh on Pika.me - your generations will use a new Pika Wallet attached to your new Pika.me account.
How a single Pika Wallet compares to subscribing directly to each underlying model.
| Dimension | Pika.me Wallet | Direct Subscriptions |
|---|---|---|
| Setup cost | $0 - free account | $0 - but multiple signups |
| Monthly minimum | $0 - pay only when used | $10โ$30+ per model, every month |
| Bills to manage | 1 (Pika Wallet) | 5โ14 separate invoices |
| Unused capacity | Tokens roll over forever | Forfeited at month end |
| Adding new models | Automatic - no migration | New subscription, new key, new code |
| Persona & memory | Built in across models | Re-prompt every time |
| Per-clip cost at scale | Wallet markup applied | Direct provider rate (cheaper at volume) |
| Best for | Creators & small teams | Batch pipelines, 1000+ clips/day |
Bottom line: For most creators producing handfuls of pieces per week, the Pika Wallet's convenience and bundled persona memory more than compensate for any per-token markup. For batch pipelines generating hundreds or thousands of clips daily, calling provider APIs directly is more cost-effective at scale.
The questions people search for before they buy their first token pack.
Yes. Creating a Pika.me account, designing your Pika Agent, adding the Pika MCP to Claude, and connecting to platform integrations like iMessage and Slack - all free. You also get a starter batch of tokens dropped into your wallet on signup so you can try a few generations before you ever pay.
The Starter pack at $7.99 for 800 tokens. That's enough for somewhere between 4 and 80 generations depending on which models your agent picks - high-end models like Sora burn tokens faster than lightweight ones like Pika Video or Whisper.
Tokens don't expire while your account is active. Pika.me doesn't operate a use-it-or-lose-it system - once you buy tokens, they're yours until you spend them or close your account.
All five published packs price tokens at the same rate - approximately $0.01 per token. Buying the largest pack doesn't give you a bulk discount per token; it just lets you front-load your spending so you don't have to top up as often.
Pika doesn't currently publish a token-refund policy on their pricing page. For specific refund questions, contact support@pika.me - they handle these case-by-case.
Not yet. As of launch, Pika.me is a consumer product with individual accounts and token packs. There's no published team plan, SSO, or enterprise-grade billing arrangement. For developers building on Pika's capabilities, the Pika API at pika.me/dev provides separate, programmatic access - pricing for that is set per-API-call.
No. The legacy pika.art video product and the new Pika.me agent platform are separate products with separate wallets. Pika Labs has explicitly confirmed that tokens and subscriptions from your old Pika account don't carry over to Pika.me. You'll need to start fresh.
No - the Pika MCP connector itself is free. When you connect your Pika Agent to Claude via the MCP, you're not paying any new platform fee. You're still billed exactly the same way: Claude usage bills against your Claude subscription, and any generations your Pikafied Claude makes bill against your Pika Wallet.
Your Pika Wallet dashboard inside pika.me shows your token balance, recent debits, and which generation each debit corresponds to. You'll see the model used, the date, and the token cost for each generation - so you can audit your spend and figure out which models you reach for most.
The natural cap is simply buying a token pack and using it until empty - your agent can't spend what you haven't purchased. There isn't currently a built-in "spend cap" toggle inside the Pika Wallet, but the pay-as-you-go model means you can't accidentally overrun a monthly budget.
Pika has hinted that monetization and earning features will return in the future - they were part of the original product roadmap before being paused. For now, the only way to top up your wallet is to buy a token pack.
Pika.me accepts major credit and debit cards through standard secure checkout. For iOS app purchases, Apple's in-app purchase system handles the transaction directly. Web purchases go through Pika's payment processor on pika.me.
No subscription. No credit card on file. No monthly minimum.
